Institutional status

The Center for Private Sector Development was established in January 2001 as a subsidiary of the Palestinian Businessmen Association. PBA itself was founded in 1997, and it was registered at the Ministry of Interior as a civil society organization. During the past 10 years, PBA has evolved as one of the leading private sector institutions in Palestine.

CPSD is governed by the PBA’s Board of Directors. The activities and programs of this institution are scrutinized and approved by the PBA’s Policies Committee, which is a specialized sub-committee set up by Board of Directors.
